Employment Opportunities:

Assistant Snow Sports School Director

Responsible for filling in when the Snow Sports School Director is not present. Expected to instruct when not needed for other duties that may arise. Applicants must be 18 or older.

Cashiers

Must have excellent customer service skills. Must have knowledge of services provided, polices and procedures, coupons, employee discounts, Bergen County discounts, etc. Accountable for all money used and the handling of money. Responsible for cleaning of personal area and restocking as needed. Duties include miscellaneous office work, filing and answering of phone. Various departments - Applicants must be 16 or older.

Cook

Responsible for all cooking done on the grill. Must have excellent food preparation skills. Must be able to cook foods quickly and efficiently. Responsible for cleaning grills, counters, and entire back cooking area. Must have knowledge about the menu. Applicants must be 18 or older.

Customer Services Representative

Duties include answering phones, relay information and provide customer service for our guests, and also assist with other office related activities. Computer experience helpful. Applicants must be 16 or older.

Food Runner

Must have excellent customer service skills. Must have knowledge about the menu. Must be able to handle any special orders that may arise. Must be able to restock all inventory. Responsible for cleaning between the grill area and counter tops and all tables. Applicants must be 15* or older.

Food Service Supervisor

Responsible for food service area when Food Service Manager is absent. Oversees all food preparation and behind the counter work. Must have excellent customer service skills. Applicants must be 18 or older.

Group Coordinator

Will handle all scheduling of groups, preparing contracts and ensuring deposits are taken for all groups. Must have knowledge of preparing reports. Must communicate to all departments regarding early openings. Must maximize group sizes for early openings to efficiently use payroll. Computer experience is helpful. Applicants must be 18 or older.

Lift Attendants

Assisting guests on and off lift chairs, maintaining snow at chair entry and exit and checking lift tickets. (Outdoors position) Must be 18 or older.

Mechanic

Responsible for maintenance and repair of company vehicles and equipment. A knowledge of auto repair is helpful. Must be 18 or older.

Property Maintenance

General cleaning maintenance, building maintenance, includes emptying garbage, clean and stock restrooms, clean/mop floors, and clean all windows and tables. Duties also include snow shoveling, upkeep around building and some minor security functions. Must be courteous and helpful to all customers. (All shifts, some heavy lifting, indoors and outdoors)

Rental Shop Attendant

Assist guests with outfitting of ski and snowboard equipment including skis, blades, snowboards and ski boots. Must be certified to set all ski and snowboard bindings. Must have knowledge of ski tuning. Oversees all cleaning and maintenance of rental shop area. Must keep organized paperwork of rental equipment and ski recovery. Must have knowledge of fitting of boots. Must be able to examine all equipment for problems. Must have excellent customer service skills. Must be 16 or older.

Ski and Snowboard Instructors

Duties include teaching ski and snowboard classes to guests on both one-on-one and group lessons. Applicants must be able to ski/snowboard well, have patience and understanding, trained on how to instruct different levels of instruction. Applicants must be 15 or older.

Ski Patrol

Experienced Ski Patroller wanted for covering mountain during weekday and weekend hours. Contact Erik Van Den Berg @ 201-327-8167.

Snow Sports School Administrator

Duties include coordinating and maintaining school office; answering phones, taking reservations, maintaining lesson manifests, relay information and provide customer service for our guests, track time and payroll for instructors and also assist with other office related activities. Computer experience helpful. Applicants must be 16 or older.

Snowmaker

Handling and maintenance of snowmaking machinery and positioning of snowmaking equipment and hoses.(All shifts nights/days/weekends/holidays, outdoors, heavy lifting involved) Must be 18 or older.

Tubing Attendants

Oversees loading, unloading and operating of tubing lifts. Must maintain the tubing area surface. Must keep full attention on the tubing area and any customer needs and/or questions. (Outdoors position) Must be 16 or older.
