Campgaw Mountain Learning Center has a new Director! Harold (Woody) Woods has
retired and this year, Dave Hirschberg will be taking over. Dave has been teaching at
Campgaw for many years. He began instructing here at Campgaw in 1990 and took over
as the Snowboard Director in 1994. Dave was also the Snowboard Race Director for the
Rattler Race Team as well as the Snowboard Technical Director for North Jersey Cross
Training from 1994 – 2000. From 2001-2003 he was the Snowboard Director at Mt. Peter
as well as the Developmental Director for the Mt Peter Race Team of New Jersey. He
returned here in 2004 to once again head up the Snowboard department and we are
excited to have him take over as the Ski School Director this year.

Lessons
Individual lessons do not include an Snow Pass (Lift Ticket).
A Snow Pass is required for each person using the area.
Reservations are recommended for Skiwee, Private & Semi-Private lessons.

NOTE: A credit card number is required to hold a reservation, if you do not
cancel your reservation

or do not show up you will be charged 50% of the lesson cost.)

Skiwee (1.5 hours)
SkiWee is a program developed to; introduce new skiers to
the equipment,
learn starting and stopping in a wedge, improve balance,
and teach
youngsters to work with others in a group setting.
Lesson includes a short hot chocolate break
and a few minutes at the end of the lesson to go over their progress.
Groups are designed to be at a ratio of 1 instructor to 3 students
for beginner lessons, they cannot be run as a private session.
Reservations for Skiwee Lessons are highly recommended.
