Over the next few months Campgaw's crew will be working hard to ensure the safety of the lifts and our snowmaking capabilities.
If you are hiking on some of our great trails, you may notice all of the chairs and sheave wheel trains are off of the lift. This is because all of the trains are being redone to keep us all safe.
What are the sheave wheel trains, you ask? Why they are the wheels the cable and chairs ride on, to take you to the top!
We will also be replacing some of our snowmaking pipe this summer under the lift. This way if mother nature is not kind again and doesn't bring us natural snow, we don't have to worry. All we need is the temperatures to drop below 28' and we are set.
