Adaptive Lessons


Ski Campgaw is once again proud to offer an Adaptive Program for adults and children with developmental disabilities or visual impairment who want to learn how to ski and snowboard. From "Never-Evers" to the advanced skiers and snowboarder, every student will benefit from the instruction from Campgaw Snow Sports School’s specialist adaptive instructors.


Lift ticket, lesson and adaptive equipment are included. Duration of the lesson is 1 ½  hours, depending on the students stamina.

Payment is required at the time of reservation. The student is responsible to bring their own skis, or board, boots and helmet.

Rentals of equipment is also available at Campgaw for an additonal fee.


Adaptive Program Pricing - 2018/2019 Season Rates

One Instructor                        9:30am, 11am, 1:30pm or 3pm                                 $129

Two Instructors                      9:30am, 11am, 1:30pm or 3pm                                 $158

Additional instructors can be added to the lesson for $29 per instructor, per lesson.

The Adaptive Program Supervisor makes the determination on instructor requirements.

Due to the high demand for lessons, advanced reservations are a MUST.

First Timers:

If this is your first lesson with us, regardless of prior skiing or riding experience, all first time students will have a 2 instructor lesson. It will start with a discussion between the Adaptive Program Supervisor and the student’s parent or guardian reviewing the Student Evaluation Form, while the  second instruction get the student out on the snow. At the end of the first lesson the Adaptive Program Supervisor will determine how many instructors the student needs for their next or subsequent lessons.


Returning students will be assigned the number of instructors previously determined by the Adaptive Program Supervisor and will be on the snow for approximately 1 ½  hours, if capable. The Student Evaluation Form can be downloaded from our website and must be completed by all returning student before their first lesson this year.


No walk-in lessons are available. All lessons require advanced reservations.


Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your lesson begins. Allow extra time for traffic and weather conditions as well as time for parking.

The Snowsports School Director or Adaptive Program Supervisor has the right to cancel any lesson if, in their opinion, the student's present conditions would present an unreasonable risk to the student and/or snow conditions would do the same. Adaptive Program Supervisor makes the determination on instructor requirements.

*There is a 24 hour cancellation policy. All reservations are to be paid in full when booked and are nonrefundable if cancelled with less than 24 hours of the reservation date. Reservations cancelled with more than 24 hours will be charged for the lesson in full.
